We're setting up a fun little seasonal tourney in the Fly Fishing Forum... HSO's Fly Fishing Challenge

Beginners.. Diehards.. It doesn't matter.. We're just in it to have fun! We will be having Monthly Chases.. Species Contest.. Smallest/Biggest Fish contest.. and one of the prizes at the end of the season is a Rose Creek fly box that'll be filled up with flies donated by a handful of HSO's own forumers! HSO's Fly Fishing Challenge!

There will be a series of ongoing competitions throughout the season. The Challenge is set to start on April 1st, 2012 and will end on Oct 31st, 2012.

Species List:

This challenge is to be the fly angler to catch the biggest variety of fish on the fly throughout the duration of the Fly Fishing Challenge. Fishermen entering in the contest have until April 30th, 2012 to create a thread in which to post their species list.. ie: “Itchmesir’s Species List Thread”.

Monthly Chase:

Each month has been designated which a specific species. The goal is to catch the biggest of that species on the fly.

April - Sunfish and Crappies

May - Trout

June - LM Bass

July - SM Bass

August - Carp

September - Pike/Muskie

October - Walleye/Sauger

Prizes:

Species Specialist(most species caught/species list): Rose Creek Fly Box w/ Assorted Flies

Lunker Hunter(biggest fish): TBD

Tadpole Tamer(smallest fish) : TBD

Entry Fee: Passion for fly fishing!
