Anyone else going to try to fish trout before the end of the winter season? Big Trout should be open any day now and I plan on giving lakers a try before the season closes. I am thinking of pulling plugs 10 to 20 feet and I am just looking for some pointers on ice out lakers if anyone has any better ideas let me know. I am also considering heading up north to stream trout lakes, but I am doubtfull they would open up before the season closes. Just something to keep in mind, because I dont know the next time open water will be around before the close of the winter season.
