2005 Crestliner Serenity and 898c

Has anybody mounted a Humminbird 898 or 998 on the dash of a 2005 Crestliner Serenity? This is the full windshield and I'm trying to see if it will actually fit on the dash. I think some fish hawk or superhawks had the same dash if they were full winshield. Thanks

Found this on another site. It doesn't talk about the factory mount, but may give you some info.

I have a Crestliner with full windshield and run an 898 HB Si on a 2.5" Ram at the counsol. I used stainless bolts with 1" SS washers as a backer plate. It was difficult to install D/T the stereo and other wires in the way but is solid and well supported. I have a 6" arm which allows me to swivel the unit around and face the bow if I want to read Di/Si. With the size of the 800/900 series I would think anything less than a 6" arm you would not be far enough away from the windshield to turn the unit. I could post some pics if you would like if I have time.

I was curious as well since I have a 788 coming for my Sportfish.
