Pool_Eleven
So i usually dont feed my bullheads once ive got them in my tank for the same reasons most other guys dont... They po0p more! And in turn dirty the tank faster. BUT... would feeding the little guys once in awhile make them more "lively" and have more energy once they're actually used as bait? Cause it could be weeks if not a month or so before you use the ones you caught earlier in the year. Thoughts??
Lowblazah
I dont feed only because I dont run filtration (just aeration). I know some guys who do feed but couldnt tell you that they are any more active...mine bounce on the end of a rod all night long without feeding. nsnutter
I run filtration in my setup but I don't feed my bullhead - no reason to! I usually only keep around 3-4 dozen on hand, and I burn through them pretty quickly. No problems keeping them lively - I think water quality is the most crucial factor, not diet and exercise lol
Scott K
Throw a couple creek chubs in there with them, if they get to hungry, the creek chubs will disappear
