fishing4fun
Are there any lakes in the southern half of the state that has any muskies in them. I'm sick of driving 3 to 6 hours just for a day of fishing. I live down near Marshall. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest
Minnetonka, Waconia, Independence are all very good and don't look like they would be too far from where your at. If your looking for something south of that, take a look at French Lake.
minnesotamusky
Hey Fishing4fun,I'm from Marshall also. I just tried muskie fishing for the first time last Saturday on Lobster Lake near Alexandria. We didn't have luck. I agree that it sucks that we have to drive 2+ hours. I have read that a few people caught some muskies on Green Lake in Spicer. fishing4fun
I just spent the weekend up on Miltona north of Alex. We didn't have that great of luck. One fallow in 20 hours of fishing. We did catch some pike while trolling. I just wish it wasn't 3 hours away everytime I wanted to go musky fishng.
