How's everyone doing?

I got off to the best start I've ever had with 4 fish in the boat the first weekend, one at 48".

Haven't hooked a fish since. Maybe it's been my timing but has anyone been having any luck the last 2 weeks?

Caught a 48 incher on Sunday morning on a topraider. The biggest I have ever boated...think my knees are still shaking!!...The fish started presenting themselves at about 7 a.m. and disappeared after 8:30. Kept fishing until noon...never saw another. What area of the state are you fishing?

Yup, my experiences were similar to Rodbuilder's. I landed a 46" on Friday morning (my first legal!) about 7AM on the traditional black bucktail. Saturday was slow from 5-7AM with just a couple of follows. However, as Rodbuilder said, 7AM seemed to be the magic hour; in the next two hours we boated two spotted-phase ski's and had follows & hits from three or four others. Pretty good action, but it doesn't start 'til the sun is up over the trees. Interesting. Maybe I can sleep in somewhat next weekend!

ive had some good luck as well this year. ive got 4 in the boat with the biggest being 42 1/2. my fish have come 9:30am till 5:30pm. no monsters yet but "if i throw it they will come".

Good to hear some guys are having luck.

Rodbuilder congrats on the 48". Mine was my largest in my two short years of fishing.

I finally broke the cold streak this week. Caught a 34" on Thursday afternoon and a 42" on Saturday morning. Really saw a lot of fish on the move as well. Should have had a two fish day, but sometimes its not in the cards. That makes six for the year. Is anyone killing them this year?

I was very suprised at the light boat traffic this weekend on the metro lakes. I expected to be run off the water by 8 am Friday-Saturday.

With any luck I'll be heading to Bemidji Tuesday-Sunday of next week.

Can you say, Bemidji, Plantanganet, Big, Cass, Leech, Winni all within 20 minutes.
