what do you have questions about?? i dont have one but am shopping for one.

i plan to get a tiller kicker probably on the port side. might get a connecting rod to hook it to the main motor too. also i have heard of people steering with an autopilot bow mount trolling motor.

if you have a smaller boat i would make sure your transom is strong enough to handle the extra weight.

I've had a kicker motor for years. I like driving with my hand on the motor, so I run tiller-control kickers and I don't tie them to the big motor. I like Mercs, which have twist-grip shifting, so the same movement with your wrist shifts gears and operates the throttle. Very nice. And .... when doing open water trolling I sometimes use my big motor as a rudder to steer the boat, it's not as precise as using the kicker but for open water it works fine.

At first I ran my tiller control kickers on the port side of my boat. With my current boat, I started with the kicker on the port side but I had it moved to the starboard side and I like that better ...... I'm closer to all the controls and accessories on my console dash, and I can put the other 2 guys on the port sides and not have them between me and the console. And I like the boat control and steering response I get on the starboard side. The only downside I've seen to the starboard side is that the boat lists a bit in that direction, but I rearranged my batteries to offset it.

Hope that helps. Unfortunately I don't have any pics.
