3rd Waterfowl Zone Input

Just a FYI that the DNR is seeking input on a third Waterfowl Zone in Southern MN. Chances are it would mimic Wisconsin's on the Mississippi River. I would like to see it go all the way up the Misssissippi River to St. Cloud and extend out 5 miles for field hunting.

Someone else mentioned the Minnesota River as well.

What all do you think? Please let the DNR know starting the 23rd of Feb via e-mail or at the sceduled meetings. This is your chance to get your later season so please let them know.

I heard the scheduled meetings unveiled a couple 'zone 3' possibilities. A Mississippi River zone or a southern zone that is bisected by U.S. Highway 212. Either sounds good to me.
