Late March Trip 3-22 -3-25

Looking to plan a trip to DL 3-22 through 3-25. This will be my 1st trip. Looking for tips where to stay? I also have to ability to bring a army tent and stay on the ice. Not sure how the ice conditions usually are that time of year. I wont have a wheeler, just a small truck. Thanks for any tips!

Man, that's getting pretty late. Most normal winter years, late March can tend to be a pretty sketchy time for ice, but with our abnormally warm weather this winter, I doubt it will even last that long. Could be wrong, though. Get in touch with Woodlands Resort. I've heard good things.

my guess is by 3-22 you better bring a long rod and a boat. I could be wrong but with 18 to 24 inches of ice and no snow cover the ice isnt going to last long.
