Guest
I was out trolling for pike with a buddy a week ago. I used my favorites (Suick and spinners) and he used a "Big Doc Spoon". I was unfamiliar with that lure until he outfished me 7-1. Now I'm trying to find that spoon and can't even get a hit on a web search. He insists you can't find it in a normal sporting goods store, but some places "up north" have it. Anyone else out there heard of it? If so, where can I get on (or more)? Guest
I do not know if this is the lure you are looking for, but if it is let me know. i will be in the area on 29 May. I think providing this link is within the rules of the board since I am not profiting from the link, I am just providing info you requested. Happy fishing.http://www.basspro-shops.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=36716&hvarSearchValue2=251&hvarSearchValue3=785&hvarSearchValue4=02&hvarTarget=search
Guest
Disregard my previous post, I now know what you were looking for. It is a Kotco Doc Spoon, I can only find an 800 number for them, no HSOforum. KOTCO Lures 1-800-252-5873 I'm sure they will mail you a catalog or inform you of where they sell there goods. Once again, if you know the color and size of spoon that knocked them dead let me know, my 11 year old son would love to have this weapon in his fishing arsenal.
