March 18th

May not be exact numbers from Sunday but very close I think there were 93 entries total. When the weather is like it was on Sunday these numbers are pretty normal, March and april trials should have good numbers as well. Which stake are you going to be running?? Pigions for the puppy's, ducks for the other stakes..

Puppy 10

Hunter 26

Derby 18

Qual 20

Open 19

Had a good time. Nice meeting you and other trialers. Lots of helpful info. Ran derby, broke! Sure did clarify things to work on. Will be back in April!

Glad you had a good time, How old is your dog? I didn't see you run the derby but from what I could tell in the hunter, your dog appears to have had mostly hand thrown marks ( dog hunted short on both birds at around the distance you can throw a mark ) so could use more gunner thrown marks, to stretch him out a bit. You had mentioned the steadying process and how it's tough because you like to see them run hard, trust me they can be steady and run just as hard. See you in April..
