LeeKen
Very nice work.I wish we had some redpolls. I've seen 1 or 2 on a couple occasions this winter. A few years ago I had to fill the feeders 2-3 times a day because of the siskins and redpolls. However I shouldn't complain, I'm lucky to have plenty of blackcapped chickadees, white-breasted nuthatches, various woodpeckers, house & gold finches, juncos and a sharp shined hawk (using the feeders as bait). With some people getting very light feeder usage I feel fortunate with these visitors. Is the bird in #5 a color variant of a house finch? eyeguy 54
Nice series, looks like maybe a pine siskin? I remember once about 15 years ago we had a slug of redpolls come to the feeder. Havn't seen them sence.
KrabbyPatties
#5 is definitely a house finch.
