Come on up to LOTW, Pike season is open year around and some truly BIG ones are being landed these days, 'tis the best time of year for 40+'s. I've seen quite a few caught this past week at both Warroad, and the Z-bay tourney over this past weekend.

With the opener quickly approaching, I was wondering if anyone would like to share his opening day pike hunting strategy. Understanding that your opening day strategy is likely different for each lake or region, what's your favorite way (depth, lures, structure) to go after pike on opening day?
