But saying staffers and guides were the only one that had input to issues and what to fix??? That should have been the case, but it wasn't. I'm guessing I paid more for my test drive than staffers/ guides too. .

That's not what they are saying. They couldn't afford to get this wrong. Folks returning units and constantly ripping at scabs on the internet do them and all marcum users absolutely no good. There is plenty of time going forward to present ideas.

Honestly, the majority of users are 100% content if they can see their bait, bottom and have a beer sitting by their side. Does everything look good? Yep! But as you said, we all have ideas and input. Go buy a unit and play with it, send Jon an email. As a favor, please suggest a second zoom window and a more infinite zoom.

The lx7v2.9 is pretty sweet. Can't wait to get it on the boat

While i cant entirely agree that the unit didnt perform as well out of the box as the unit i had i will say it performed at least as good with some cool new features. the graph was and is awesome the zoom setup and the ability to set it up to what works best for the type of fishing i do at a given time.(not just a circle dial that has no adaptability). Take all the cool and functional features that made it stand above most if not all current locators out there and now improve on that and dial it in and add new features that addresses issues then they have done the consumer right.

Picked up a cord from my buddy, went through the process, get the 7 to start chirping plug in the unit and it recognizes it then errors out. Go in to my computer it shows up there, try and drag the file and it says file not found make sure path and file name are correct. Downloaded the file again, again retried to connect and have the same result. Nothing works. Anyone around warroad this weekend wanna help me out? Thanks.
