Coyotes on public land

Recommended Posts

Yes, I hunt management areas all of the time.

Some of the biggest "packs" of yotes in my area are in the management areas. It's tough to see them coming, because usually it's thick woods or tall grass. If you can find a pond or something, that usually helps.

The biggest problem with management areas, is that you never know how many people have tried calling in them. Coyotes get smart awfully fast after they are called in, shot at, or see people walking away from there sets.

good luck
