Crank down fish house repair?

Thanks for the responses. I live in Buffalo, and tried to get my fish house repaired @ "The Fish House Store" in milaca. Well after taking my $500 deposit on a all new crank system Travis ( the owner ) disappeared and went bankrupt. The issue I am having is the stub axels are starting to bend.

I had the same issue with my pivot axles a few years back while going to Ridgewater college in Hutch. The welding instructor told me that his Dad does repairs and also sells fish house trailers. Google Eastling Welding in Cokato. Close to Buffalo back roads. With repairs made, new winch system painted think it came to 750.00$. They moved the pivot to about 6" back from center too so the tongue was not so heavy. Previous welder never thought of picking it up off the ice for moving. I think it was a good repair at a fair price. I do not have pics though because it never got out of farm storage this year.

Good luck

I would think that this would be a pretty easy route to go. Cut off the old ones, drill new holes and weld in new axles.

I'd also look into some heavier axles while you're at it. I think most of them come with 1750 axles. I hear too many stories of these bending.
