I am posting this question in the waterfowl topic section because the guys on this topic use the motor in the same conditions as I will. Also, I have received good info in the past from the people on the waterfowl section.

I am looking at a motor from a company called backwater. They make a long tail called swomp. The company is somewhere up around St. Cloud. Anyone have any dealing or info on these guys? Don't want reports about other motors, just any info on the said above company. I have talked to them and it sounds like they have the equipment that would suit my needs, however, just want to make sure they are a good company to do business. Thanks for the help.

I own a differnet brand but I have heard of the swomp motor and I think I have even seen a couple of YT vids of it. I also heard that they are some good ole boys. I have not done any bussiness with them but its a word of mouth thing if you know what I mean .

I hope you find what your looking for in a mud motor and let us know what you get and please post some pictures of it.

I run go-devils. I had a prob with one of mine and the owner of the company, Warren Coco, called me on my cell and talked me through the fix. You can't beat that for service. Good luck with the motor. If you run muck, rice, weed filled swamps or rivers you will wonder how you ever did it without one.
