FL 20 not reading bottom

I have tried a new ducer and it works for sec. when I do a bench test 3 ft on the bench then a sec. it goes blank?

If you hear a clicking sound it is usually OK. Have you tried it in water or different surfaces. I have done that test with a ducker that is working fine but have had problems on certain surfaces. If you don't get anything on a lake, i would take it back if its new.

Is your battery in good condition? Try a new battery now that you have tried a different transducer. If it does the same thing, then it sounds like it is something inside the head unit, which Vexilar would need to look at.
