I would check into Sportsman's Oak Island Lodge at the Northwest Angle as well as Flag Island Resort. Both do a great job and have great fishing and accomodations. Both offer guided day trips to the Ontario side as well for some off the beaten path adventures. When the ice permits both are accessable by ice road from the mainland at Young's Bay.

Black Island Resort. An established small American Plan resort just north of Morson on the Ontario side of Lake of the Woods. Ballard's Resort just purchased the resort last month. It has been a very well run small family resort on Big Black Island between Morson and Obabikan Lake. You will have protected fishing and access to Pike, Muskie, Crappie, Bass and Walleye.
