honda 15 hp moter?

just looking for a motor found this for $995 short shaft. can anyone tell me if this is worth it i know nothing about honda moters is this a good deal it is a 4 stroke

1997 looked at it today looked like new. sorry i didnt know the year yet. the reason i'm looking is a may want to trade my 78 15 hp evinrude it runs good but i,m afraid parts will get hard to find i paid around 700 for it. i have heard i paid to much for it. dont know had new carb and lower end rebuilt thanks for your help. i want a moter that could last 5- 10 yearsthanks

Make sure it runs. A little high for the age, but if it is like new not to bad. Had one a few years before upgrading to a 20 honda to go along with my 90 honda. Great motor did about 20mph with 14 foot mod v jon boat, 20 does about 24mph. As long as it is good and you change the oil once a year should last 30 years no problem.
