Eco-jigs??? Glass blown Jigs?

Glass blown jigs??? Has anyone taken it to the lakes or river?

Ya know 7-8 years ago up here on the LOTW a glass jig called the 'optical' jig iffin I remember right was all the rage, these were glass shaped kinda like a Rock'n roll jig with some kind of glowy material molded into the middle. Spendy little buggers too. They did for sure get bit, but the hooks broke pretty darn easy on any fish with some poundage. We figured the heat to get the glass on there took the temper out of the hook. After losing many fish I gave up on them! Still see them in some shops up this way though.

Just got back from Lake of the Woods and that was one of the hot lures.

Clear flat glass bead with glow pink inside on a red hook.

I think they were called tiger eyes.

How did you get a hold of eco jigs??? They are not suppost to sell until tom. at the sportsmen show @ the River Centre. But gald to hear you had a good time.

I rather buy jigs waste of money or not just good to have choices. I'm sure you know about that.

I've got some jigs that have a clear head on them with a streak of color going through.

I think they're plastic though.
