alarm on power converter

According to the manual online

4. If your power demand ( lights, motors and battery charge ) exceeds your

converter amperage, and voltage drops to 12.5V, the audible alarm will

sound. Sinlply reduce the DC demand by turning off the last item o f DC

appliance which triggered the alann, the alann will stop and your

converter will function again

This is the only reference to the alarm in the entire manual.

I would also double check that everything is wired correctly and that all the fuses are in place. If this is a new install then I would go back to square one and check your wiring.

this happens often when it does not get thecorrect voltage to run the converter. all the ones i have owned have done this. lets say if i had it in the truck. it would beep if i had the truck not running. but as soon as i started the truck it would go off. now if i ran it off a battery with nothing else on it. (like in a shanty) it worked great, until the battery got low enough , then it would beep again, but with a full size deepcycle(heavy) battery it lasted almost all day

I ll have too double check some of the wiring but this is in a 2010 ice castle that has been used two full season already. But yet this year is when this first started to happen.

I am not surprised. Your batteries are not new anymore. They may not hold the charge they used to. they are probabally still good to use but converter just sees less voltage than it always has seen in the past. Without looking at the wiring that would be my guess.
