Which Blade Bait and Size?

I'm seeing a lot of ice fishing shows where they are using blade baits. I've never heard them say what size they're using. I have heard them talk about Custom Jigs and Spoons blade baits. But, are there other brands out there that any of you have experience in? And, what sizes/weights do you like?

Also, are there any certain conditions that you would use them in?

Heddon makes blade baits(sonar) so does reef runner (cicadas) and there is the Zip lure along with the cj&s blade baits (I just picked up their grab bag special of 10 cj&s blade baits for $17 in the 1/2 oz size
