Battery question

I have a 200w inverter and deep cycle battery I use when I'm out fishing to run a tv and other stuff in the icehouse. Its the size battery that one would use for a trolling motor. My question is there a smaller deep cycle battery I could get that wouldn't be so heavy? I realize I might be losing hrs of battery life. But losing a few lbs from the battery is my biggest want.

Our local C&S Supply has a deep cycle thats about the size of a garden tractor battery. Not sure of capacity.

Try NAPA. I believe their Stowaway line of deep cycles came in a smaller size. Five years ago I bought their big one and use it year round, ice fishing in winter, camping in spring summer and fall. The battery is still running strong, but I do maintain it. It has never been allowed to drain way down or sit for days on anything other than a smart charger. I'm sold on their batteries now.

I was just looking at them at walmart last night. They have smaller sized marine batteries.

Fleet Farm has a 31 amp hour deep cycle battery that is fairly small, not sure how long it would last running your stuff. About 50 bucks.
