Mitch is on a roll!

Got up around midnight this morning to try our hand at a some fox and we managed to get one. Mitch and I tried 3 spots this morning and couldn't get anything to show and were about to call it a night when I talked him into one last spot. He was dragging pretty good but gave in anyway.

The wind had been pretty light all night but picked up a bit at this last spot. It was starting to switch to the South. I set him up at the corner of two trails watching West and I went 20 yards to the South. I started the call and after 3 minutes,turned it off and heard one comeing in from the West. I turned on my light and Mitch must have heard it too because he turned his on too. I never saw it but I saw Mitch shoot and he headed West down the trail. The fox made it 20 yards into the brush before expiring. Nice looking Male and #5 for him for the year so far.
