Cancun fishing ideas January

Headed to Cancun last 2 weeks of Jan. Would like to do some flats fishing with light spinning tackle. What might be the best guide service to go through?

Tarpon and snook are your only real options. permit and bonefish dont heat up till bout may. but here's a place that i fished bout 5 years ago.

Pretty limited close to Cancun there is some asweme fishing in the lagoons by the hotel zone. I hired a guide a few years ago and did well snook, tarpon and sharks I dont have his contact info anymore but if you can find someone online that guides in the lagoons it is good other than that pretty limited unless you head and hour north or south for guides
