I hate to sound like a mean person, but if you cant put line on your own reel maybe you should try somthing else. It takes five minutes to do.

Maybe you should learn how to spell and post your stupid comments on someone else's post.

When it comes to ice fishing you don't need a whole lot of line. Sure a store could put it on there for you in a jiffy and for my musky rods I don't mind having a store put on my braid for me... but when it comes to the amount of ice line you use it's hardly worth the time to go to a store to put it on.

Thanks for being ice-holes about it..... Really helpfully, informative trolls.... Quit wasting my time!

LOL!! You're wasting your own time dude. They answered your question, but also gave a little advice. Putting line on a reel isn't rocket science. Just go to youtube and search "putting line on reel" it's actually quite simple.

Sometimes it's not the "How to...?" but it's more of a "I don't have time to..." I travel for work and when I get home I go into "daddy" mode and wear the cape. I don't always have time for myself after the Daddy-do's and Honey-do's so even though I am perfectly knowledgable and capable it's sometimes easier to outsource the mundane tasks of spooling line and reel maintenance/ lubrication and save an hour or so to spend that time prepping the boat or sled for the season.

It's a choice and a matter of individual preference and I don't think the OP's question was deserving of such a strong response.
