On-board charger question

On one of the banks I'm getting both a green light and a red light. The green tells me it's fully charged but the red says the connection is bad. How can you get both? BTW it's Minn Kota and the bank is to my trolling motor and there's no power to the trolling motor, can't even get a chirp out of it.

Could be that the battery is dead. A totaly discharged battery will not take a charge and give you

those type of readings. There may be other issue that cause that issue also.

Wow, that was quick. I switched banks with another battery and the same thing, the bank to the trolling motor battery still had the red/green thing going so it's not the charger. Dead battery huh? That's not bad considering the battery is 4 years old and cheaper than replacing the charger.
