did not get a chance to fish DEER on fri. we went over on sat.morning 7.15 just to find out that there was apx. 20 to 25 other boats there already some waiting for rain to quit others going out to try it? my fishing parter and i thought there is enough boat traffic on such small acre lake so we headed over to Grindstone lake,Sewyer county. water temp 56-wind 8-10 raining trolled for 4 hrs. 2 hits - missed both?? being 75lbs over weight from rain we both called it a day. sorry for no info. on deer [email protected]

.....thanks for the update on Deer.....myself I fished Rush -Chisago -this
weekend...both Sat. and Sun. -not too much boat traffic - but on sunday got hit by the hailstorm, lightning and thunder....real scary...got out of there as fast as I could..
nothing like rain in October....fished crappie, mainly, tons of them on the deep breaklines - up to 12 inches....walleyes were scarce...although both weekend days looked like cold fronts to me...rain and blue skies...
