led tv in fish house

Right now I have a older tv with a dvd player built in it im thinking about updating it to a led tv with a dvd player built inis there any problems with them not working or the dvd player not playing until they warm up. My old dvd payer wont play until it warms up.

We always let ours warm up. Why would you not let it warm up?

Guess we've never tried dvd player within 3 hours of setting up. Think we might be apples and oranges if you are talking a permanent. We usually turn on the heater when getting road pass. During the trip out, drilling holes, setting down, slushing, banking, and lines down, the house has warmed up nicely. Crank up the dish and tv works fine. Did have a friend that tried turning on a flat screen in a still cold house. No tv for them that weekend. Never know for sure if it was the cold or a bad tv but not willing to take the chance.

3 hours sounds long. Tried a fan aimed at it to get internal temp up faster?

dont you guys worry about moisture ruining the electronics?

Ive never had a problem with moisture. Just have to wait awhile before the kids can watch there dvds in the morning when we first get there.

Those type of electronics where not designed to be used in cold temperatures. Keep them warm and warm them up before use and you'll be fine.
