I took a brief reprieve from the daily gring and went to the cabin for some fishing in Lake Superior. While the weather was basically decent enough, the wind certainly tried to rattle the teeth all three days I was on the water. Saturday morning was the only respectable period of time that the wind blew from a direction condusive to good fishing....and it was then that I caught my only two fish- both lakers- one 4.4 pounds, the other 10.95. Both came off spinners cast from the Two Harbors breakwater intro 40 to 65 feet of water. One of the two will grace my grill tomorrow evening. It's good to be back home and I plan to hit the local waters yet this week.
