buddy heater

just purchased an eskimo fat fish 949. do you think my buddy heater will heat it or do I need to upgrade to a big buddy?

I had the same question after getting a 949. After posing the same question to other readers, I went with the big buddy. I remember all too well, sitting out in my brother's fishhouse with him on a fairly mild Winter night, freezing because the reg. size Buddy didn't work worth a hoot. He ended up taking it back and going with a sunflower style that would occas. make me nauseated. Figure I can always turn the big Buddy down or off for awhile if it gets too warm, but I thought I could also use it for a little warmth in the garage if working on something. Enjoy the Eskimo!

I would upgrade I switched my lil buddy to a sunflower heater when I got a bigger houae

I have the Clam Command Post, 6x12 and have the Big Buddy. It is larger and keeps up ok on a zero degree day. While the 949 is smaller, the BigBuddy is not much more money, and since it has 3 settings, I would get the Big Buddy for sure.
