it looks like it could work, but with the hummingbird fishin buddie 110 you wont see your lure under the ice. you might want to post that as a new topic to ask that question. i have the marcum showdown troller which is 199.99 regular price. i love the marcum showdown troller because its light weight, small as a ipod, and a good flasher, made in the usa.

found a Hummingbird 128WIDE in a portable unit for ice fishing for only 18 bucks! BUT! they dont know if it works the pawn shop just said he baught many things from the guy and they all have worked so he trusted him, also IDK what kind of batteries it uses looks like it takes 2 lantern batteries. Weird thing is that its only 18 at the pawn shop but the older flashers like the Hummingbird Super Sixty they have is 34 bucks. puzzles me why a more modern technology is worth less than a oldschool tech..... anyways Im wondering wich is better than the other? all he told me was he can give me a 3 day return and all I have to do is figure out what batteries it uses and if it even works. Im puzzled and need some help on this one.

and btw how long will it even run on 2 lantern batteries?
