GPS & DNR Map Question

I'm wondering what those DNR downloadable maps are like and how they work.

I have a garmin 76csx:

Do I need to put in a blank microSD card when using these maps?

Do the DNR WMA maps include the trails (ATV, Snowmobile etc) or do I need to manually enter these in?

I contacted Garmin, they suggested to use a separate microSD card for this map file.

I'll give it a go tonight and report back.

I installed the maps with a new microSD card, I put the WMA maps and snowmobile maps on.

Nothing too fancy but it gives you parking info, WMA boundaries and snowmobile trails.

I used the Mapwel's MAPupload which was available from the MN DNR HSOforum to upload the files to my Garmin.

The upload failed when I tried to add the additional files to my Lakemaster chip, I figured this would happen but gave it a try anyways.
