mrpike1973
hi on a previous post i have a 15 hp 1978 evinrude motor. i didnt realize the small hole directly in front of the prop was plugged. i unpluged it lots of water came out so i put it in the lake several times back and forth until this little weep hole if you will ran out in a stream. now after letting it sit for a while i noticed today it had a little water in the hole i held a napkin to it just a dribble came out is this just some residual that wont effect the motor freezing and cracking. i blew some air in it seems dry just sick about this. almost ready to bring it in the house but dont think the wife will enjoy it in our living room hee hee help thank you
boatfixer
I don't think you have anything to worry about. From what you've described in that you cleaned it so a stream of water came out, the little amount that you seen since is residual and not enough to cause any damage.
