I just received an Email from my superior at Reel Recovery (a non profit organization that takes men with cancer of any stage on fishing retreats) A local TU chapter made a very generous donation.

We are putting on two retreats in the Midwest in 2012, one in Onalaska; the other in Iowa (location to be determined).

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for that generous donation. This donation will definitely put one more step in the right direction for these retreats.

Hey hooks, I took a couple guys from Arkansas fishing this summer and they were part of Reel Recovery as well. That group is something I am very interested in volunteering for. I sent an email to the powers that be from the HSOforum but did not hear anything back. Can you put me in contact with someone? The wife is from Onalaska and we'll be spending quite a bit of time there this summer. I would love to help out.
