Carb Linkage question

Question

Hi All! I'm helping a buddy of mine tune up his Strikemaster auger. It's a few years old but the model number is AV520. It's a 3hp auger, my question is we're thinking it's missing a linkage on the carb somewhere cause the throttle that comes from the handle isn't linked to the throttle on the top of the carb. I was wondering if anyone knows where a guy could get a linkage diagram? Any help would be much appreciated! We can get it to run and idle but the linkage between the handle and the carb is missing something somewhere? Thank you!!!!!

Thanks for your replies everyone! I forgot to mention that there was a spring attached in between the two but I feel like the spring loaded mechanism that the throttle linkage from the handle connects to may be upside down? When I pull on the throttle on the handle it pushes the lever to the opposite direction that the throttle needs to go to open up. It's like i need them to go two different directions? Which would never work.

Sorry the link I posted are for the TC engines with diaphragm carbs.

I don't have any dia for that carb but again it is similar because the throttle cable does

not go directly to the carb.

The vane(governor) is the solid connection to the carb. The plunger that is moved by the throttle is connected to the vane with a spring.

Make sense?
