hi bought my new frabill recon. the instructions say to pull the tarp around the bottom so the pole on the bottom front barely touches ground. when i did this there is no excess if you will where i screw the rubber molding around it seems kinda tight on the sides where the bottom is when i flip it up i think its ok but there is no way to loosen it more. my old fish trap was very loose maybe things have changed think its ok.

My Frabill Predator was the same way very tight. Haven't had a problem yet though as far as anything tearing. I have 3 different extension positions when you extend the poles and on a couple of the poles I can't lock them out at the 3rd and longest position because the canvas is so tight. Must be the way they make them but I thought it should have had a little more room as well.

I love mine too! I'm going to be making some mods this year to mine that should allow me to fully utilize the space which I'm very excited for.

The house will keep you warm and cozy in the coldest weather...I've never once been cold with the heater going, and I've fished some gosh darn cold and windy days.
