Wondering if anyone can help me in finding a old thread on there that someone put up about a home made auger rack that they made for their wheeler? it was made with a wood base and had big eye bolts screwed to it that he had cut and dipped in rubber and the auger sat in the cut out eye bolts. the thread had some good pictures of it. was thinking of making myself one and wanted to find the thread to take a closer look at it.

can anyone help?

thanks.

I plan on making one as well for my wheeler. I noticed that one (or both) of them are made of MDF. I plan on using plywood instead. Otherwise, if that paint ever chips, the MDF will soak up any water and expand. Plus, plywood is stronger.

You can get the clamps at Harbor Freight.

I actually used MDO which is plywood made for exterior use. And yes you are correct the plywood is much stronger. I got my toggle clamps from seven corners hardware in St Paul, it was the cheapest place I could find, and I looked all over the internet.
