No more conserving battery power out on the lake! Looking at the weather forecast going to put the boat away by the weekend, and after getting this last night ...bring on the thick ice! Anyone else just get a new toy, that while not needed, will make time on the ice a little sweeter and the wait a little harder. Also, how long do you wait to tell the boss that you just dropped entirely too much money on something that you really did not need ? I personally try to hide it until she sees it, sometimes I actually get away with it because she does not know what it is or she believes the "we've had it for years"....most often though, i get busted smile

You gota love it when they don’t know what it is!! If they don’t know what it is they don’t know what it costs. I am also like you, try to give her the “we have had that forever”. That sometimes works.

Just make sure you ditch the box promptly after getting it home. And sprinkle some dust on it. And if/when they ask, try not to start laughing. (got busted with that a few times). "That giant table saw that takes up 1/2 a garage stall? Oh, that's been there forever...."

Nice! My Yamaha 2000ie was the best investment I have made. Keep her locked up!

I second that. They seem to have legs. My cuz had one stolen out of the back of his truck while on Centerville lake (or as I call it, Lake of a Thousand Stolen Items).

Those units are about 1 large, pretty sure that Honda sets the price with "authorized" dealers and really can't get one for much less. I am fortunate/unfortunate enough to own a small business and was at least able to buy it through there. We have lost power there about 4 times over the last 12 years..... rarely during operating hours, but if it happens again, at least i will be prepared winkgrin
