Glen's Pop Up Fish Houses?

Last winter, there were a number of posts and good reviews regarding Glen's Pop Up fish houses. I booked marked the Glen's site and started saving my spare change.

I just checked their site and they do not show any fish houses under their own brand - just the Eskimo and Clam houses.

Any one have any news on whether Glen's is going to sell more fish houses?

Not sure if this is true or not, but the rumor going around that I've heard is that whoever made the knock-off pop-up fish houses for Glenns and others used poles that were too brittle and would snap in the wind ---- lots of problems with the houses and no reliable warranty backing them, and not going to be sold again this year.

Haven't heard of these rumors yet but I don't know if I'd give Glen the title of "knock off" since they seem to be one of the best build hubs out there...I'd give the title "cheap knock-off" to clam!

From personal experience, I like my glens hub and it has been out in high winds and cold temps....

Yeah, I used mine all year last year and I wouldn't call it cheap at all. They were the first to show me some features that are now coming on the new Eskimo's. I however can't speak of the warranty as I haven't had to deal with it. I have owned a clam hub and I would take the Glen's Hub over the Clam any day of the week.

They stated on their facebook page that the houses would be in the first part of November.

Fished out a friends Glen's Hub 6x6. Seemed to work great, nice design and no complaints.

I think the same manufacture that makes Glen's Hubs also makes the "Black Ice" and Outdoor Xtreme ice shacks. The designs all look the same.
