Obtained permission to fish private lands in Iowa. According to the land owner "They ain't stocked this creek in years". What a great opportunity to catch natural trout in natural waters.

This stream was stacked thick with hungry and aggressive brookies. I haven't seen brookie fishing like this for quite a while and it didn't take too long to get our fill of these fish.

This fall trout fishing thing is definitely doing the best it can to keep my mind off ice fishing!
