Thinging of picking up a Fatfish hub style portable and was concerned about set up with high winds.

Any suggestions? Also how do hubs hold up to wind once set up as far as wind shaking the house and making noise?

You need to get them tied down with ice anchors (usually included with these type of shack), but as long as you do that they are secure.

As far as setting up, get an anchor in the ice and one side tied down before fully deploying the shack. This will help hold it in place until you get it set up and fully tied down. It is important, because I have seen these shacks tumbling across the ice in the wind.

But once you get them tied down and some snow shoveled around the base, they are secure and no worse in the wind than any other portable shack.
