ladder stand

i have this really good spot that i have been hunting now for the past 4 years. i had a carpet stand but that blew down. now a ladder stand is there. but for the past 4 years i just feel to exposed. any ideas what i could put around, on, in, the ladder stand? and does anyone use the tree stand umbrella?

try some camo burlap/or any camo fabric and zip tie it to the stand. Then zip tie some small branches to the burlap for a 3D look possibly.

Some of th best camo'd blinds I've ever seen are ladder stands with pine boughs attached. However, there may be rules against cutting live vegatation on public lands. But to my knowledge you may gather dead stuff legally for a blind in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. One thing is for sure, sit up there naked and reduce your chances greatly, deer look up in the trees!

My brother wraps his ladder stands that his daughters sit in, mainly because they can't sit still! He uses burlap on one of the stands and it works well. He has added some camo paint stripes to it to help blend a little better. On his other stands, he uses some old military camo netting that is used over tents, vehicles, etc. I like this much better than the burlap, much better job of blending in and still gives you the ability to see through it.
