Crappie Talk

I spent a few weeks up on LOW in early July fishing for smallies and eyes and had a chance to talk crappies for day. I came in from a day on the water and headed for the cleaning house to filet up some fish. I ran into a man who shared the same interest for crappies as I do and we began talking about ice fishing and such. See, the particular part of LOW that I was fishing wasn't really known for crappies so I had to settle for smallies and such, but he was convinced that he could find the crappies. And sure enough, he did find a crappie, a 2 1/2 pounder! He caught it trolling for walleyes. What a trophy. It sure was nice to talk crappies with someone again.

I've been away from the computer all summer and haven't had a chance to post much, but now that I'm back online I plan on joining in the fun once again.

Bring on the crappies!
