Cast and Blast Fall Color Tour

I couldn't say no when my girlfriend wanted to go back up the shore again for the second time in three weeks. We were early for the fall colors last time, and you know how girls like their leaves.

The pinks were in thick, but they were mostly frankenfish, with their eyes falling out and skin falling off. There were still a few fresh fish to be had, but it was a very early in the morning bite. The sun shut their mouths.

The coasters were in. Including a couple fatties. And unlike last time, I managed to find a couple grouse.

I found this guy guarding a favorite spot Saturday morning:

The rivers are still low, but there was enough water for fish to make it upstream:
