Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle ?

What do you guys think of this gun for deer hunting? And over all?

It would work fine for deer hunting.

But, you'll need a scope with a huge eye relief.

It's a tough call, its a gun that is good for everything, but great for nothing.

One of its big selling points is that its short (~38"), but is that something that you need for your particular hunting situation?

It's really going to vary from person to person if its the right gun for them.
