If I bring my 9 year old duck hunting with me and I want him to send some bb's in the air, what does he need for license??

Where can I get .410 shells in steel?

According to the DNR regs, your 9yr old CAN hunt with you. He will need a small game license. At his age it is a FREE license, but it is required. He does not need duck stamps to hunt. This is also from the regs.

As far as finding .410 steel, I'm not sure where I've found it, but I know I've used it. Think big box stores and call first.

If its anything like .410 lead shot it will be spendy i'm sure.

I know some of the bigger stores carry winchestor experts in .410. I think the lowest shot size they go to is 6 shot though.

I got it at Reeds the last time I got it and yes it was more than a box of black cloud

I ordered .410 steel shot online last year. Found it in Walmart this year.

When you get the free small game license, make sure you get the HIP cert also.
