Building a shack on a pop up?

Any one on here ever build on off the side walls of a pop up? Got a nice trailer that i might try to build off! Its a 14 ft 2 axle.

I did it once. It was....challenging.

If I were to do it over again, I would strip it down to the floor and build up from there.

We stripped ours down to the frame also, ran 2 1" shafts from side to side, and put crank down wheels on it. Extremely cheap build for us, as all we had to buy was wood for floor and screws.

The reason I would strip it down to the floor is that tying the factory walls to my 2x2 walls was a pain. For the little extra cost of wood, I think it would save a lot of time to build entirely new walls.

Well getting the stuff gathered up to start the build! I took it down to the frame and am putting new advantake flooring down! Going to rip pressure treated 2x4s in half and stud with them. On the outside walls i am going to use the same steel that they make roofing out of,but we are putting it up smooth ! I can buy it before it is made into roofing. Only ? i have is its not real strong as a flat sheet and i was wondering if i should put like luan on yhe outside then cover it witrh the steel?

I would put 1/4" or 3/8" plywood on then find a construction adhesive made for wood to steel and glue it in place.
