Lights on my steering wheel don't light up?

Recommended Posts

I drive a 2003 F-150 and the buttons on my steering wheel quit lighting up green when i turn my headlights on. The right side quit working first and about a month later the left side failed to illuminate. Is this just a simple fuse or two to replace or something not even worth the time to fix.

normally just the lights burn out. ive built a few of them. (changing interior light colors on street cars.) just take the cluster out and twist the lights out (On most) some have the lights wired into the circut board. but thats mainly radios and heat control clusters. which in that case, carefully grind away the solder, get replacement lights, slide the wires through the holes. and carefully solder em back in.
